The New Temple Building

• The grand inauguration of this new temple was held on the 06th June 2017.

• The temple is built in the ancient South Indian temple architectural tradition,
developed 2000 – 2500 years ago.

• The altar of the Temple, the sculptures of the deities, the pillars, the floor design
motifs and the religious iconography are all chiseled by hand, in black granite stone
completely adhering to the ancient tradition of Hindu temple building.

• The entire stonework was done in South India, and shipped by 30 container loads,
before being assembled by the granite stone artisan and temple builders who came
from South India for the purpose.

• The entire ceiling was carved in tropical mahogany, in Sri Lanka and was shipped
in pieces and installed on site by artisans.

• This Temple is the only one, in the whole of Europe, to be built with granite stone,
adhering to this ancient architectural style.
